Emirates flies Dubai to Delhi in about 3 hours 20 minutes (Emirates), and Sterling is 12–13 km from Delhi's Terminal 3. These sample schedules show how treatment can fit around work. Your actual plan follows your scan.

Single implant: two long weekends

DayTrip 1
Day 1Arrive; consultation, CBCT scan and plan
Day 2Implant placement
Day 3Rest; soft foods
Day 4Review; fly home (at least 72 hours after placement)
DayTrip 2 (a few months later)
Day 1Check healing; impressions or digital scan for the crown
Day 2–3Crown fitted and checked; fly home
Healing time between trips depends on your bone and the implant; your surgeon confirms it.

Full arch: two visits, around annual leave and Eid

DaysTrip 1 (annual leave or Eid)
1–2Consultation, CBCT scan, digital plan and preparation
3Implant surgery; fixed temporary bridge fitted as planned
4–7Rest and reviews
8–14Adjustments and checks, depending on the plan; fly home with fixed temporary teeth
DaysTrip 2 (about 3–6 months later)
1–2Check healing; scan for the final bridge
3–5Final bridge fitted and checked; fly home
Once the implants have bonded with the bone, the final bridge replaces the temporary one. Your surgeon confirms the timing.

If a bone graft or sinus lift is needed

A graft can often be done at the same time as the implant; sometimes the implant is placed at a later stage, once the graft has healed, which adds healing time and an extra trip. After a sinus lift, published guidance suggests waiting at least two weeks, ideally about six, before flying (Felkai et al., 2023), so it is best timed with a longer stay or a visit home.

Before you request leave

  • Send a recent OPG or CBCT and your likely dates on WhatsApp.
  • Check whether you need a visa: Indian passport and OCI card holders do not (e-Medical visa guide).
  • Check whether your Gulf insurance covers any part of it; many plans exclude implants.
