About the treatment
A traditional crown takes two visits: impressions and a temporary crown on the first, and the permanent crown a week or two later. CEREC does it in one. A small camera captures the tooth, the crown is designed in 3D on screen, and it is milled from a block of ceramic in the clinic while you wait.

How long does a CEREC crown take?+
Most CEREC crowns are completed in a single appointment.
Are CEREC crowns as strong as lab crowns?+
They are made from high-strength dental ceramic and bonded to the tooth. Your dentist will advise if a different material suits a particular tooth better.
Will I need a temporary crown?+
No. The final crown is fitted the same day.
Does it match my other teeth?+
The ceramic is chosen and finished to match the shade of the teeth around it.
