Cost is usually the first thing people search for, and the hardest to get a straight answer on. Many clinics give a single "from" price that leaves out the crown, the scan or the grafting. This guide gives Sterling's actual indicative prices by implant system, shows what the same treatment costs in five other countries (with the source for every figure), and adds up the rest of the trip.

Sterling's indicative prices

These are the clinic's current prices. Your exact quote follows an examination and a CBCT 3D scan, and is given in writing before treatment starts.

Why the price varies

  • The implant system. Established brands such as Nobel Biocare and Straumann cost more than others; all the systems Sterling uses are internationally distributed, so parts can be sourced by dentists abroad.
  • How many implants. One implant for one tooth; four or six for a whole fixed arch.
  • The bone. If the jawbone has shrunk, a bone graft or sinus lift may be needed. It can often be done at the same time as the implant; sometimes the implant is placed at a later stage, once the graft has healed.
  • The final teeth. The type of crown or bridge (metal-ceramic, full ceramic, zirconia) changes the cost.
  • Guided surgery. A digitally planned, guided placement (for example with the DIO system) costs more but can shorten surgery.

How India compares

Private fees abroad, from the most neutral published sources we could find. Where only clinic or directory prices exist, we say so.

Your real trip budget

Treatment is only part of the cost. A realistic budget has these lines:

ItemWhat to plan for
TreatmentYour written quote from Sterling, after the scan
FlightsUsually two return trips, for single implants and full arches alike (London to Delhi is roughly 9–11 hours non-stop)
AccommodationAbout 3–5 nights per trip for single implants; for a full arch, about 7–14 nights on the first trip and about 14 nights on the second, 3–6 months later
VisaIndia's e-Medical visa fee for your nationality (not needed with an OCI card)
Local travelSterling is 12–13 km from Delhi airport Terminal 3; a taxi is roughly ₹550–750
ContingencyA few spare days, and a small reserve in case grafting is recommended

Even with two trips, many patients from the UK, USA and Australia find the total well below a private quote at home. The only way to know for your case is an itemised quote, which starts with your X-rays.
